What to Expect at Your First Visit

You will be evaluated by a Board Certified Practitioner who will review your functional goals and plan in detail. This conversation and assessment will help us help you. If you have uncertainty or questions about the process, our experienced staff is here to provide answers and direction.

Please bring a valid prescription, your insurance card(s), and a photo ID with you to your appointment. During your visit, we will gather information from and about you. This includes details, such as your height, weight, age, prescribing physician, and medical history. If you would like to complete our registration process ahead of time you may utilize the below links. Step 1 can be completed online through our interactive online form and Step 2 may be printed, filled out and brought to our office at your scheduled appointment.

Some insurance companies require that we obtain an authorization before delivering your orthosis or prosthesis. Our administrative staff will start the process and submit the authorization request to your insurance on your behalf. Once the approval is received, you will be contacted to make an appointment to return for the delivery of your device.

The products and/or services provided to you by New Beginnings Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. are subject to the supplier standards contained in the Federal regulations shown at 42 Code of Federal Regulations Section 424.57(c). 100/10 recommend NBOPRI to everyone I come in contact with! They are more than an office, they quickly become like family. Brian lead us through the process for both of our daughters’ helmets. We learned every appointment and left each visit with an overwhelming sense of comfort and new knowledge. Brian and all the staff made my son’s helmet journey a breeze! They were accommodating and quick to get us in the office whenever we had an issue. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Last March I saw David Paolino At New Beginnings. I have Multiple Sclerosis. (I go to the MS Dream Center, MS support group down the hall) I wanted know if there were any braces (I have Dropped Foot) better than what I was using on the market. I showed David everything I have been using now and over the last 20 years. He told me that what I was using is the best out there for me. I really apricate that he did not try to sell me an expensive brace I really did not need. Another thing we talked about was Knee Hyperextension. I have been dealing with it for 10 years. I showed him a large brace that went from my upper leg to my toe. It was very large and unmanageable when traveling. He had a much better idea. He made me some wedged to wear under my STEP-SMART BRACE. They stopped my knee from Hyper Extending. After 3 or 4 months I didn't need the wedges anymore. Thanks David for giving me something simple that works.
